As I meantioned the other day, I got my first ever Eyeko package on Thursday, I think? Anyhow, I was uber excited to start playing around with my new goodies, especially the graffiti liners. I bought three in the shades black, blue and purple. I'd never tried this type of marker style eyeliner before so I was definitely intrigued as to how these would wear and how easy they'd be to use.
Now, I don't pretend to know anything about eyeliner. In fact, I very rarely use any at all. I find that I have not yet mastered the skill that is applying liner so that it appears even and effortless. I can never seem to get it close enough to my lash line... So basically, it's wear liner and look ridiculous or don't and just deal with it.
These actually worked quite well for me. It was a lot like applying liquid liner without the having to reload the applicator. These had a steady flow of product, just like using a sharpie on your eyes, really. It was quite fool-proof as long as you held it on an angle rather than pointed straight at your eye.
Colour wise, black was the most intense though that wasn't really all that surprising. What I was surprised by however, was the lack of pigmentation the purple showed when applied. It was barely noticeable and someone would have to be right up in your face to really notice it. So that was disappointing. I was also a bit disappointed by how dark the blue was but the colour was still good pigmentation wise but I found it was the hardest to get a thin line.
Overall, I definitely recommend the black but the purple and blue didn't do all that much for me, even though I was the most excited to try the purple. Sigh, I guess my search for a great purple eyeliner will continue. Has anyone got any good suggestions?

Nail of the Day
I've been going through a huge nail faze of recent and so when I was going to the city yesterday, I decided to bling out my nails with 'Show it and Glow it' by OPI from their Burlesque collection.
It's such a beautiful colour and I got soooo many compliments on it :) This picture is of two coats btw. I had on three and took photos of each layer to show the glitter distribution, but I forgot to take one of three coats of polish ><
Anyways, it's this really gorgeous glitter polish with mini fuchsia/purple-y glitters and larger multicoloured flecks throughout the clear base.
This is Show it and Glow it at one coat:
'Tis a polish worthy of purchase in my humblest of opinions. OPI retails for $19.95 AUD or you can find it online at TransDesign.com for around $6 a bottle though shipping is a bit pricey (Shipping is $20 international for up to 9 bottles).
Hope you had a fabulous weekend as well :)

Eyeko Haul :D
I'm super excited coz today I got my first ever Eyeko package!
I ordered these about 2 weeks ago which is reasonable since they're in London and I'm in Australia. It was all bubble wrapped safe and sound and all items were in perfect condition (something of a luxury when used to dealing with eBay).
So I bought the graffiti eyeliners in the three colours they had avaliable: Purple, blue and black. I also got the magic mascara which is possibly the cutest tube of mascara ever and is huge compared to the average amount of product you usually get. I got their cheeky colour in 'Glow Getter', two of their Eyeko creams in extra glow and the original one, I guess. Finally, I bought three fat balms in the flavours raspberry, strawberry and minty.
Anyway, I'm going to give some of these a go tomorrow and I'll put up a post with swatches and a review etc.
Until then, have a lovely day!

Gah!
Oh my gosh this is driving me up the wall! Photos take soooo long to upload on here!
I've tried to make a couple of other posts since my first but it takes forever to add a single picture (and they are kinda necessary :P)
Oh well. I'll keep trying!

Introductory Review: Shills Miss Perfect Pore Hide
Hello to anyone reading my humble blog :)
For my first post, I thought I would review an item I believe no one should ever, EVER waste their money on. Shills Miss Perfect Pore Hide.
Shills Miss Perfect is a face primer that claims to hide pores, absorb oil and mattify. The usual for a face primer. I'm sure you've probably read some positive reviews on the stuff, I know I certainly did, but when I got it in the mail, I could honestly find nothing good about it.
First off, the size of the product is tiny. Seriously tiny. Imagine a large lipgloss pot and you have the amount of product you will receive. Even then, the product only fills about a 1/4 of the container with the rest filled by a large sponge for application.
Secondly, the smell of this will knock you over. It's not even a floral or fruity scent. I find that to me it smells like a mix of latex and rubber. And this isn't a smell that goes away after a while. I had it on for about fifteen minutes before I couldn't put up with it anymore and had to take it off.
You'd think with a lack of product and horrible smell the actual product should at least do a decent job? Well, no. No, it doesn't. It feels greasy on the face and does nothing to mattify the skin. In fact, it does quite the opposite. After applying foundation on top of Miss Perfect Pore Hide my foundation turned yellow (? I know, I don't understand either,) and no amount of pressed powder could stop the oily appearance of my skin. By the way, I have dry skin so I can't even imagine what this would do to people with oily skin. I shudder at the thought.
So pretty much if you have a nose or dislike your skin being comparable to a grease slick, I suggest strongly that you skip on this.
You can find Shills products on eBay and some online stores. I bought this for $5 (20mL of product) on eBay.
Overall Rating: 1/10
